Getting Ready

Requirements

*kf requires MATLAB R2012a or later and runs on Windows and OS X.

Generating Simulink models requires Simulink.

MATLAB Coder is required to compile a filter into a MEX or generate C code.

Of course, there are requirements on you too. To get serious with filters, you'll need to understand a little of statistics, like covariance matrices, and a tiny bit of linear algebra. A good working knowledge of MATLAB programming will also help, but you needn't be an expert.

Installation

If you've already purchased *kf, then installation is easy. Simply enter this command at the MATLAB prompt:

eval(urlread('http://install.anuncommonlab.com/starkf/install_starkf_web.m'))

It will ask you to log in and will take care of everything else.
